Last week Doc Lounge's Andrea Arvidsson visited New York City and the Tribeca Film Festival!

One of the festival’s most interesting parts was the Storyscapes – an interactive and public installation celebrating multi platform transmedia projects, curated by Ingrid Kopp Director of Digital Initiatives for the Tribeca Film Institute. Here we got to meet projects like Sandy Storyline by Rachel Falcone, Laura Gottesdiener and Michael Premo, A Journal of Insomnia by Guillaume Braun, Bruno Choiniere, Philippe Lambert and Thibaut Duverneix and Robots in Residence (see picture) by Brent Hoff and Alexander Reben.

Documentaries that really caught us was the Inside Out: The People's Art Project by Alastair Siddons and Aatsinki: The Story of Arctic Cowboys, a fascinating story about challenges and hard work in the life of reindeer herds Aarne and Lasse Aatsinki taking place in the stunningly beautiful landscape of Finnish Lapland. Directed by Jessica Oreck.

Great thanks to BoostHBG who made this experience possible.
